AI for electronics manufacturing. Supplier quotes side by side. The award stays with your team.

Mid-market electronics companies that build through contract manufacturers run sourcing from inboxes and spreadsheets. On the systems you already run, Webaroo builds agents that send the RFQ, read every quote into one comparison, and answer from your supply agreements with the clause cited.

Where it breaks. Three places the work piles up.

  1. 01/03

Supplier quotes come back in different formats

Unit price at three volumes, NRE, tooling, MOQ, and lead time arrive laid out a different way by every contract manufacturer. A buyer rebuilds them in one spreadsheet before anyone can compare.

  2. 02/03

Contract terms are buried in PDFs

Excess and obsolete liability, cancellation windows, IP and tooling ownership, warranty, and payment terms sit in MSAs and supply agreements. Finding one clause means opening every file, and renewals arrive as surprises.

  3. 03/03

    Supplier changes surface late

PCNs, end-of-life notices, lead time changes, and price increases land in one buyer's inbox. The planner finds out after the build is scheduled, sometimes after the last-time buy has closed.

What fits. The products that take each problem off your desk.

  • Workflow Agent

New board to quote / Approved supplier list / RFQ package drafted / Sourcing lead

Builds the RFQ package and sends it to your approved suppliers once your sourcing lead approves it. It tracks every reply, routes the comparison and the award recommendation for approval, and creates or changes a PO only after a yes.

  • A page read line by line. Three fields lift into one record, wait in review, then post.

Four supplier quotes / RFQ and target cost / Two gaps flagged / Comparison built

    Document Intake

Reads every quote, agreement, and change notice into one set of fields per document type, each with a confidence score. It flags terms that are missing or differ from your standard and routes each change notice to the buyer and planner who own the part. A field it cannot read goes to a buyer with the reason, not a guess.

  • Scattered sources arc into one body of knowledge. Every answer keeps its line back to the source.

Supply agreements / Supplier scorecards / Terms, with the clause

    Knowledge Agent

Answers your team in Slack or Teams from the supply agreements and supplier files in the Drive folders you share with it. It cites the source, down to the clause, and logs every question.

Four quotes in four formats, one comparison your team approves.

One RFQ for a new controller board at a mid-market electronics company, from the request for quotes to the award recommendation.

Illustrative / Example data / No live actions

Request

The sourcing lead asks for quotes

The sourcing lead needs quotes on a new controller board at three volumes. The Workflow Agent builds the RFQ package from the BOM, the drawings, and the target dates, and drafts it for four approved contract manufacturers. It goes out when the sourcing lead approves.

Need quotes on the new controller board at three volumes, due in two weeks.

Workflow Agent

New board to quote / Approved supplier list / RFQ package drafted / Sourcing lead

Knowledge

Agreement terms, answered with the clause

The sourcing lead asks which of the four suppliers' agreements cover tooling ownership, what payment terms each one carries, and how each scored on delivery last year. The Knowledge Agent answers from the agreements and scorecards your team shares, cites each source, and logs the question.

Sources

Supply agreements. Supplier scorecards. Approved supplier list.

Knowledge Agent

Supply agreements / Supplier scorecards / Terms, with the clause

Action

Four quotes, read into the same fields

Over the next two weeks the four quotes come back as PDFs, each laid out differently. Document Intake reads each one into unit price by volume, NRE, tooling, MOQ, and lead time, and checks them against the RFQ and the target cost. One quote leaves out tooling, and one lead time runs past the launch date. Both are flagged.

Draft

Comparison of four quotes, two gaps flagged

Document Intake

Four supplier quotes / RFQ and target cost / Two gaps flagged / Comparison built

Handoff

The sourcing lead picks the shortlist

The comparison reaches the sourcing lead with each figure linked to its source, plus a drafted question for each flagged supplier. The sourcing lead approves both questions and a shortlist of two. The Workflow Agent sends the questions, adds the answers to the comparison when they arrive, drafts the award recommendation, and logs every step. Nothing is awarded until the sourcing lead signs off.

Waiting on approval

Two supplier questions and a shortlist of two, for the sourcing lead

Workflow Agent

Comparison received / Shortlist of two / Sourcing lead / Award drafted

The pattern.

Illustrative

A mid-market electronics company that designs its products, has contract manufacturers build them, and runs sourcing from spreadsheets and a shared inbox. The Workflow Agent runs the RFQ and the approvals, Document Intake reads every quote into the same fields, and the Knowledge Agent answers from the supply agreements with the clause cited.

Who this is for

Mid-market companies that design consumer, industrial, medical device, automotive, telecom, energy and power, or connected-device electronics and have EMS or ODM contract manufacturers build them.

Where we start

The assessment maps the top 3 workflows with today's numbers, such as the RFQ cycle and contract review. A single build or an FDE Pod, a pod of forward-deployed engineers who work inside your business, takes the first workflow to production on the systems you already run, with no AI team to hire. A pod is measured at its production checkpoint, day 90 for a small pod or day 120 for a large pod. After launch, our dedicated support and maintenance team runs it.

What stays with your team

Supplier selection, negotiation, the award, the signature, and every purchase order stay with your team and any advisor you work with. Nothing goes to a supplier, and no PO changes, until a named person approves it.

What owners ask before the first call.

The Workflow Agent runs the RFQ cycle, from the package to the award approval. Document Intake reads quotes, agreements, and change notices into the same fields, and the Knowledge Agent answers from the supply agreements in your Google Workspace folders with the clause cited. When several workflows and the ERP connections are the job, an FDE Pod builds them together.

No. The agents read, compare, draft, and route. Your sourcing lead decides, nothing goes to a supplier until a named person approves it, and no PO changes without that approval. Every step is logged with who approved it and when.

No. Sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and negotiation stay with your team and your advisor. We build and run the agents that take the repetitive work around them: the RFQ package, the quote comparison, the contract terms, and the change notices, on the systems you already run. The award and the signature stay with your team, and nothing goes to a supplier until a named person approves it.

No. We build the agents around the ERP, PLM, and supplier portals you already run. Your IT team grants each connection, and nothing writes until your rulebook, the written rules your team approves for each agent, allows it and a named person approves.

AI integration with your ERP and CRM

Yes. Document Intake reads each agreement sent to a watched inbox or an upload link and pulls the excess and obsolete liability, cancellation windows, IP and tooling ownership, warranty, payment terms, and renewal date into the same fields, flagging any term that differs from your standard. When the agreements sit in Google Workspace folders, the Knowledge Agent also answers questions about them in Slack or Teams with the clause cited. Access is set per folder, not per user, so the sourcing team gets its own agent and its own folders. Your counsel still decides what a clause means.

We deploy and operate directly within your existing security perimeter, implementing NIST AI RMF and SOC 2-aligned controls. Network security, IAM and endpoint security remain the exclusive responsibility of your team or your MSSP. An MSSP is a managed security service provider. We work only through access your team grants in your SSO and IAM, scoped per person and agent, and your team can cut off our access in one step. Every action an agent takes is logged where your team can read it.

How we handle your data

At Webaroo, the written plan from the 10-day AI readiness assessment sets the timeline, and an FDE Pod's checkpoint is at day 90 for a small pod or day 120 for a large pod. A single-workflow build is a fixed fee for a defined scope, quoted on a call, and after go-live our support and maintenance team runs it on a monthly Run plan. An FDE Pod is a monthly fee on a 12-month term. Half the assessment fee is credited, only toward a 12-month contract.
